Hi, I’m Esthela (she/her/ella). I’m a bilingual, bicultural Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a rich and diverse background. Prior to beginning my journey as a therapist, I had a rewarding career in marketing and advertising, but I felt compelled to shift my focus to follow a deeper passion: helping individuals, families and communities in meaningful ways.

I have always been inspired by people’s stories and driven by a desire to help them shape the narrative of their lives in empowering and meaningful ways. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse communities across the country, building genuine connections, and discovering the best ways to meet their unique needs. My mission is to create a safe, strengths-based environment that encourages open dialogue, fosters empathy, and strengthens resilience.

Your story is one-of-a-kind, which is why I use a personalized, integrative approach rooted in client-centered, trauma-informed care. Together, we’ll work to tackle challenges, replace unproductive messages, and nurture emotional well-being. With creativity, compassion, and strategic thinking, I aim to help you reframe your inner dialogue and take meaningful steps toward the change you’re seeking. I truly believe we all have the ability to create the life we want—with self-love, understanding, and patience as our guide.

I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and grew up in Southern California. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from CSULB and a Master’s in Communication from USC, where I also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Communications/Journalism. My academic and professional background allows me to combine practical expertise with a deep understanding of human behavior and relationships.
