About Aurora

I am a bilingual Spanish and English-speaking therapist with a Master’s degree in counseling psychology from California Baptist University with a concentration as a Clinical Professional Counselor. As an Associate Marriage Family Therapist, I work diligently to provide the best care for clients with professionalism, understanding, and compassionate approach. Individuals and Families are empowered with essential tools learned in therapy by providing a non-judgmental, and empathetic environment so they can feel relieved and are able to be empowered to deal with the day-to-day challenges.

I have experience providing counseling services to a variety of individuals, including minorities, particularly children, adolescents, and their families with a variety of diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, psychosis, and adjustment disorder. I am trained in trauma informed care and utilize a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling to foster hope, healing, and resilience. I value the fact that each individual is unique and has unique needs in therapy, therefore, I incorporate an Eclectic Therapy approach from evidence-based modalities that adapts to the unique needs of each individual for an effective treatment plan.

I look forward to hearing your voice, introducing myself, and seeing if I might be a good fit to help you find hope, healing, and start the process of reaching your goals.
