Paloma Therapy was founded by Dr. Nancy Paloma Collins, a first-generation Mexican-American and licensed therapist with over a decade of experience serving individuals, couples, and families across California.
Her vision?
To create a trauma-informed, identity-affirming space where women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and communities of color could access mental health care that truly understands them — not just clinically, but culturally.
Nancy’s background in Multicultural Urban Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, and her lived experiences have shaped a practice rooted in compassion, equity, and advocacy. She continues to lead Paloma Therapy with the belief that healing is both personal and collective — and everyone deserves access to care that honors their story.
