I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I am bilingual first-generation Mexican-American. My passion is my family, being creative, learning new things, and spending time with those I love the most.
My interest in the field began as a teenager and grew over the course of time. I received my Bachelors in Social Work, from California State University of Los Angeles and my Masters Degree from California State University of Long Beach with an emphasis on Adults, Older Adults, and Family.
With over 15 years of experience in the field of Social Work. My clinical career has allowed me the opportunity to work with children, adults, older adults, and families. I have worked with a variety of individuals who have experienced trauma, borderline personality, parenting, depression, anxiety, family issues, bereavement, and interpersonal conflict. I have worked in community based mental health, medical setting, school setting, and private practice.
My therapeutic approach is strength-based client centered. I utilize different therapeutic interventions to personalize the needs of each individual. My style is caring, inviting, non-judgmental, and positive. My dedication and passion is to create a safe space that fosters support towards becoming a better version of yourself.
