Welcome to Therapy! I applaud you for taking a courageous first step to make a positive change in your life, just by visiting this page. My name is Fairy Shaw, I am a clinical Associate Marriage & Family Therapist who is passionate about helping you find solutions that work for you, accomplish your goals, and discover the true potential to attain your personal growth. I recognize the need to identify and treat the cooccurring disorders, such as anxiety, depression, codependency, trauma, grieving, life transitions, and low self-esteem.

My approach is a multimodal, and I use well-researched treatment methods such as Existential, Humanistic, Family Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have been helping individuals, couples, families, and adolescents using strength based treatments. As an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist, I have worked with clients with a variety of issues and I offer a nonjudgemental highly personalized treatment approach for personality disorder, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health problems.

I value a collaborative therapy process to meet the needs of my clients, to understand their perspective, to create a safe space to heal their wounds, empower and restore a sense of identity. I take a client centered approach to collaboratively work towards unearthing hidden conflicts by examining your unconscious via your thoughts, feelings, behavior, and things you identify with. I welcome the opportunity to help you feel good about yourself and to explore new ways of living wholeheartedly.
